Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 KJV

... To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones t...ogether; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. -- Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 KJV

Rejoice!!!

... Rejoice!!! The earth is the LORD's, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For He hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in His holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of His salvation. Hallelujah!!! -- Psalm 24:1-5 KJV

Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with Thy free spirit. -- Psalm 51:10-12 KJV... God alone is the Greatest!!! Let us strive to be more like Christ daily! ~ Victorious Living

Victory Verse

... Glory! Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in His commandments.  His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. -- Psalm 112:1,2 KJV

I Love You, Abba

As a deer pants for flowing streams, so I long for you, O God. – Psalm 42:1… We were born into the world longing to be with God.  He is our Creator and the source of our strength.  Even when we fall away, He welcomes us back with open arms.

I have been so Blessed to have an earthly Father, who I can honestly say is the Best Father that God could have ever Blessed me to have.  He personifies a Godly Father.  Even though I now am grown, my Father still prays for me every single day.  My Father He is Godly by his walk with God and the Unconditional Love that he has for his family.  Our Heavenly Father is his example.

Just as our earthly Father longs to protect us; our Heavenly Father longs for us to come to Him.  When I was young, I can still remember running to my Father and jumping up in his arms.  I cannot describe it; many of you also know this feeling… it is a feeling of comfort, care and protection.

This is also how I feel with God, as I am constantly growing in Him.  Out of obedience, you just want to please Him and do His will - you long to know His ways and be more like Jesus.  When you have been in the valley and you have known that only He could been the one to bring you out, you want to Praise Him even more.  Even for the Fatherless, the Lord promised that He would never leave or forsake us and for that I am eternally grateful and say, “Father I truly thank you”.

The Victorious Ministry featured this week is N&R Rogers Ministries.  N&R Rogers Ministries is a non-traditional, unconventional, cutting edge Ministry, designed to teach the Word of God with simplicity and understanding.  Mrs. Rosie L. Roger Co-Founded the Ministry with her husband, Minister Nathaniel Rogers.  The Ministry demonstrates the Love of God by “loving others as we love ourselves.”  By using hard-hitting and innovative forms of Ministry, N&R Rogers Ministries endeavors to invoke change in the lives of individuals, families, communities and local Ministries around the world.

About Rosie L. Rogers and the new Stage Play, Make Room for Love:

It all started nineteen years ago when Rosie was asked to rewrite a Resurrection Day Play.  Since that time, Rosie has written 39 stage plays, four screenplays, six videos, one novel and is currently working on two books entitled, "Closet Talk" and "Pillow Talk".   For the last 25 years, Rosie has also been known as the legendary Christian Comedienne, "Gracious Granny".  She is a Christian Wife, Mother, Sister and Friend.

Rosie’s newest Stage Play, Make Room for Love, debuts this Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. at the Studio Theatre, located at1501 14th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001.  Tickets make be purchased online at:  http://www.eventbrite.com/event/1499179085.  More information about the Stage Play, please visit the following Facebook link:  http://www.facebook.com/MakeRoomForLove.

Rosie's desire is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ—a message of LOVE by using the stage, the television, and the big screen as her pulpit.  Her vision is to touch the lives of people, especially youth, through the Word of God in a creative way - that people who would not ordinarily come to a church service will be compelled to give their lives to Christ by what they see or hear on the stage or the screen.  Ultimately, she is striving to be used of God for the healing of the land.  Rosie has given her purpose a three E's title: Entertainment, "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine“ (Pro 17:22);  Edification, "When thou art converted, strengthen they brother"; (Luke 22:32) and Enlightenment, "A man of knowledge increaseth strength" (Prov 24:5).  Stayed tuned, there is much more to come from Mrs. Rosie L. Rogers.  Rosie says, “May God Richly Bless You All!”

Thank you, Rosie L. Rogers! God's Blessings to You!

Pastor Brenda writes, “It is our mission at Jesus In Me to reach out to others as the body of Christ.  Each member working together to support the Head which is our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.  Our desire is to show His love through our love for others and their needs.  The needs are many, the workers are few.  We have a Facebook page that shares the verse of the day, thoughts to ponder, and take prayer requests.  At this time 410 have joined.  The LORD has promised us many, many, more.  We do not advertise, nor take any monetary gain for our work.  Our treasure lies in Heaven.  We would be honored to have you join us on Facebook, by clicking the Facebook page at left on this blog, and then Like at the top of our page.  I was once told by someone very dear to me that Facebook is about relationships, not religion.  We are not about religion, we too are about the most important relationship one can have….. a relationship with a Living Savior. So please pray about it and join our Facebook family. God bless!

The Victorious Ministry this week is The Pursuit of Purpose. The Ministry is founded by Alecia Roberts. The Pursuit of Purpose Blog is located at http://thepursuitofpurposeandsurvival.blogspot.com/. Alecia Roberts is a Christian, wife, mother and grandmother. She has three daughters and one grandson. Alecia’s God-given purpose is to share her experiences in life to offer hope, encouragement and support to others.

Alecia writes, “About seven years ago the Lord placed the desire in my heart to write a book sharing my experiences and lessons learned in life. For many years I listened to Satan's lies when he would tell me no one would be interested in hearing or reading anything I had to say. I've realized that Satan wanted me to believe his lies because he doesn't want me to do anything good for the kingdom of God. He recognizes what a powerful weapon I can be against him and for the Lord. I also spent far too much time trying to find the victory in my life that would encourage and inspire others by offering them hope. The fact is the victories in my life have come daily. I looked at my inabilities instead of God's capabilities and what He can do through me. Instead of viewing this assignment God has given me as an overwhelming one which exceeds my abilities, I am now extremely excited about it because I am seeing Him working through me. It is my desire that when people pick this book up to read it they won't be able to put it down. When they've finished reading it I want them to feel it is the best book they've ever read. I want them to walk away from it with new or renewed hope, faith, belief, strength and courage. I have been working on my manuscript and am now in the process of making some decisions about publishing it. Please pray with me for discernment and wisdom to be faithful, obedient and that the Lord's will for this book will be done.”

Alecia’s FaceBook Page is The Pursuit of Purpose: A Story of Survival Pursuit! It is located at http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Pursuit-of-Purpose-A-Story-of-Survival/147213305339806. Fellowship with other Believers now!

The Victorious Ministry this week is The Word is Your Life:  http://www.thewordisyoulife.com/. Over 10 years ago God gave Billie Miller the revelation that, "The Word is Your Life!" - which changed his whole perspective on living.  God and His Word are more than just the way of life or the path to life.  The Word 'is' your life.  And once you get the full understanding that the Word is your life, you'll never let it go.  You'll never give up!  You'll never quit!  Billie's teachings have helped many Christians rise far above mediocrity to enjoy a more significant purpose.
Billie is a Christian writer, speaker, and a respected Bible teacher called by God. His mission is to provide life-changing information that will elevate the body of Christ.
Billie states, "So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of BLESSING if we don’t give up." Galatians 6:9 NLT.  You can’t quit now! You can’t give up now! Not when you’re so close. You don't realize how close you are to your VISION. You don't understand how close you are to your DREAMS. That's why you're under so much pressure. The devil doesn't want you to ACHIEVE.”

Second Chance

Minister Monique Walker writes, “Lord, I need to feel the touch of Your hand, your will for my life I want to understand. Lord, forgive me like only You can, for You're the God of a second chance.  Lord, I'm tired of the way that I am, in Your love I want to live instead to heed to Your every command, for You're the God of a second chance, for You're the God of a second chance.”  The Ultimate Act of obedience is found in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.   He submitted to God and gave us a second chance… the chance to restore our rightful covenant with Him.  I cannot begin or even want to imagine what it would be like without Him, but am so ever grateful to be offered the opportunity to know Him!  Saints, aren’t you glad you know Him today?  Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. -- Revelation 22:14 KJV

Just Believe

The world views “existence” as seeing, touching, smelling, hearing or even tasting something – in order to believe.  To Christians, it is not about proof - it is about belief.   Our evidence lies in the spiritual awareness of God.  We not only trust God, but are in tune with the Holy Spirit, who guides and directs us to the things of God.  When you grow closer to God, you begin to see with spiritual eyes, to hear in the Spirit, to smell the Sweet Rose of Sharon, and to “taste and see that the Lord is good!” -- Psalm 34:8 KJV.   Lord, we are forever thankful to You for allowing us to get to know You, for loving us before we could love and for Your ultimate redemption through Your salvation.  Lord, we lift You up, You are the true Holy of Holies.  “Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.  Serve the LORD with gladness:  come before His presence with singing.  Know ye that the LORD, He is God:  it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.  Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name.  For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations!” -- Psalm 100 KJV ~ All Glory is Yours, O Lord - yesterday, today and forevermore!  Hallelujah and Amen!

"Abba" Father

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. -- Psalm 121:1,2 KJV… Isn’t is comforting to know that God, our Creator, is looking down on His creation and saying that it is good? It is good, not just because He created us in His image, but because we are Redeemed by the Blood of Christ. Angels rejoice when we worship Him! Selah. Pause and reflect for a moment. Now, when we stop and think of the Goodness of Jesus and all that He has done for us, our souls cannot help but to cry out, Hallelujah! Rejoice and be Glad in Him for His Mercy surely endures for all generations… for we cry out “Abba” Father, for you have been so good!

Hallelujah! Christ is Risen!!!

“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. But go, tell His disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see Him, just as He told you.” -- Mark 16:6,7 NIV…  I often wonder what it would have been like in the Biblical times that we read of in the Holy Scriptures.  Would we have had to courage like Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome to run and tell the Disciples what they had just witnessed as the Angel of God told them to do?  I am honored that even though I did not physically witness this, I know without a shadow of a doubt that Jesus Christ indeed is Risen and that He Lives!  As the hymnist, Alfred H. Ackley writes, “He lives! He lives! Christ Jesus lives today! He walks with me and talks with me along life's narrow way. He lives! He lives! Salvation to impart! You ask me how I know He lives? He lives within my heart!”  I am so glad about it today!  Because Christ died for us, we can live eternally with Him! Hallelujah and Amen!! He is Risen!!!

What is Victorious Living?

Victorious Living is about standing up in the truth of all that is God. It is also about knowing who you are in Him and in the Body of Christ. It is not always about feeling good. Just as Jesus Christ was not accepted and hated by His own people, you will also be. You may even lose friends or be talked about because you are growing in Him and that is alright. Jesus Christ defeated death and remains Victorious! As we are also in Him! Victorious Living is about having the courage to know and do what is right even if it does not “feel” right. We have the comfort and assurance that we will have our crown when we are united in Him. There is a time and a place for everything… a time to Worship, Praise and Rejoice, and also a time to stand up for Him! A time for standing up in Truth, as in Him there is no error. Let us not forget about how much Our Savior cares for us. We are shaped in His image. We are Conquerors. Christ died so that we can live for Him… therefore, we are Victorious!

... Saints, I know that you are standing in God’s Truth.  Lord Jesus, I ask that you renew the strength of Saints, as we stand for you.  I pray Your Will over our lives as we continue to spread the Good News about You. I pray protection over our families and ask that you give us whatever we stand in need of right now in the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen.

Hallelujah! Stay Blessed!

Forever Grateful

And, behold, there was a man named Joseph, a counselor; and he was a good man, and a just: (The same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them); he was of Arimathaea, a city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the kingdom of God. This man went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. And he took it down, and wrapped... it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid. And that day was the preparation, and the Sabbath drew on. And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid. And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the Sabbath day according to the commandment. -- Luke 23:50-56 KJV

… Saints, as we remember Christ’s Burial and Resurrection today, let us be forever grateful for His Unconditional Love and Compassion for us, just as God the Father. Lord, there are no words that can ever express just how much we are thankful. For we know that only You, the Son of God, could endure all of this. Our spirits are is saddened at the thought of all the pain and agony that you went through, but we rejoice in the fact the You defeated death and rose to save us. Lord, it is by Your stripes, we are healed. Rejoice, Rejoice – for Jesus Christ is Risen!!!

O Lord, How Excellent is Your Name!

O LORD, our Lord, how Excellent is Thy name in all the earth!  Who hast set Thy glory above the heavens.  – Psalm 8:1 KJV.  Richard Smallwood and Vision go on to sing, “There is none like You” - Jesus, Excellent… is Thy Name!!!  Hallelujah!!!  Let us rejoice in You, Lord Jesus… the Name above all other names... The Lamb of God, Lily of the Valley, Prince of Peace, Lord of Lords, Counselor, Redeemer, The Son of [God - Elohim, El Shaddai] - Our Beautiful Savior!!!  As we remember Your Trials, Burial and most importantly, Your Resurrection this coming Sunday, let us remember the sacrifice You made for us, in obedience to Your (Our) Father.  Lord, we will never, ever be able to repay You, and if we had a million tongues… we still would not be able to thank You enough!  Lord, You died for us, let us LIVE FOR YOU!

We are His

The Psalmist Fred Hammond writes, “What is man that Thou art mindful of him?”  Psalm 8:4 KJV … Could an Awesome God find common ground within?  Just to know that You delight to be with me, it fills my heart with so much Joy.  Perfect and true – Pure in all Your ways, Oh Lord there is none else like You… No one like You!  And all these things keep me in Awe of You, for I’m overwhelmed that You would call me friend.   I believe that I understand what the Psalmist is saying here.  I too. have wondered this - because God is so huge that words cannot describe Him, how can He be mindful of little ole me?  In Genesis 1:27, God said that we were created in His image.  Therefore, I must believe that even though He created millions and millions of people, He still has time to be concerned about me, His child. So much so, that He sent His Only Begotten Son (now our Joint Heir) to save us from this world of sin.  Not only was Jesus the ultimate sacrifice, but He agreed (Rejoicing – He agreed!), and chose to do the Will of His Father (our Abba Father) and die for our sins.  Even if we had one million tongues, we would still not be able to thank Him enough!  My friends, this is the reason that God is so mindful and cares so much for us … simply, we are His.

You are the Potter, I am the Clay

The Word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.  Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.  And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.  Then the Word of the LORD came to me, saying, O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter?  Saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in Mine hand, O house of Israel. -- Jeremiah 18:1-6 KJV… Many of us have heard the metaphor that the Lord is the Potter and we are the clay.  Clay is pliable and easily able to be molded.  Are we willing to allow God to mold us?  Are we inclined to yield to Him and the Holy Spirit?  Are we open to change, be corrected and to follow the example of Christ Jesus?  Prayerfully, we are learning from our experiences and mistakes of the past.  In the passage, we also see the Potter’s dedication as the clay is described as marred; meaning it was less than perfect or not useful. Yet, the Potter did not discard of it.  The Potter is later shown reworking the clay to a vessel of which he is very satisfied.  God does not see us as a work in vain; He sees us as a work in progress… perfect only in Him.

Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.  --John 4:10 KJV … Think about how refreshing that glass of ice cold water is on a hot Summer Day.  Ahhh, now how wonderful it is to think about the “Living Water”.  The Living Water that restores our souls, replenishes our spirits and makes us whole!  Thirst for more of Him today.

Reflect on God's Goodness

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. –Philippians 4:8 KJV… As I take a moment to reflect on all of God’s Goodness, it is breathtaking to soak in all of His Awe. I am sitting here reflecting on His Grace and watching the sun begin to set.  As I look out of my window at God’s Beautiful Creation – I have to stop and say what my Mother often tells me, “Look at God”.

Rejoice in the Lord Always

Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.  Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.  – Philippians4:4-7 KJV. -- Be careful, or as the NIV translation says, do not be anxious about anything.  In essence, we do not have to fret over anything because God always has us in the palm of His Loving Hands.  Stay prayerful and allow God’s Peace to envelope you.  Doesn’t the word Peace remind you of God’s Perfect Will?  Peace that calms our spirits and enables us to trust and believe the words of Jesus when He said, “And, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” Amen.– Matthew 28:20 KJV
