THE TRUMPET by BILL BURNS:

You belong to Me, and I have equipped you to live in victory. However, you must choose to live in victory. You must choose to fight the good fight in faith! I have designed you to be one who, by your faith, overcomes adversity. 1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world-our faith.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Go beyond what you have come to know about Me, says the Lord. Let Me out of the box of your own construct, the box that you developed that only considers what I will do for you. I want you to expand your mind and heart to understand divine relationship and your purpose not only on the earth, but for eternity. Ephesians 3:20-21 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever.

THE TRUMPET by BILL BURNS:

If you will learn to trust Me in all things, then your faith will remain active. Active faith is required if your desire is to allow Me to work things out to your benefit. Therefore, do not allow discouragement to become a part of your behavior. Trust Me in all things.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

In a vision I saw a volcano that had once erupted through the crust of the earth and flowed with hot lava and ash and was now a beautiful mountain covered with lush vegetation. It was bountiful and teeming with life. And the Lord revealed that this was a symbol of internal work where unrighteousness and sin finally erupt producing repentance from which flows spiritual life. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Replacing YOUR EXCUSES With GOD!
#BOD4GOD

None of us like to admit that we are to blame. In fact, blame-shifting seems to be a way of life today. A lot of stories I hear from people start with these words:"You don't understand...there's a reason why I'm so heavy. I have issues." I'm sure you have experienced circumstances in your life that are difficult to bear, but I have to say it: Quit feeling sorry for yourself! You have been listening to Satan's and the world's psychobabble for too long. It is time to break Satan's hold and move into victory.

In 2 Corinthians1:3-4, Paul says, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, The Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in our tribulation." You must stop seeking your comfort in food and instead seek comfort in the God of all comfort. God created food to be fuel for your body, not therapy for how you feel. Food cannot heal your broken heart, make your children listen to you, stop your spouse from nagging you, or fill a void in your life. Only God can do these things. He knows you better than anyone else because He created you. He knows what you are going through. Your obesity is only adding another issue to your life, and you need to deal with it. SO QUIT SHIFTING THE BLAME to someone or something else! Take ownership of your actions, seek wise counsel, and for comfort look to the loving God who created you.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Just as I led My chosen people out of Egypt in ancient times, so I will lead and protect My people from the tyranny of the world.  I will safeguard and care for those who travel the road of peace and righteousness, says the Lord.  I will perfect, establish and strengthen everyone who has decided to live in My kingdom.  1 Peter 2:9-10 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.
