SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

In a vision I saw a train pulling away from the platform, and the Lord said that moving forward will be similar. It will be slow at first and gain momentum with distance. The same can be said for us spiritually and naturally until it is "full steam ahead", which is to proceed with as much energy and vitality as possible. I had a sense of excitement in my spirit, knowing that we are being released into a new spiritual season. Philippians 3:13-14 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

I have provided the wells that produce salvation, so make sure that you are abiding in the waters that I am providing for you. Get in and stay in the living waters. John 4:10 Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water."

To many who have lost your joy because you are overwhelmed with darkness and dissatisfaction, I say this to you: It is time to lift yourself to new spiritual heights where you no longer think only about the miseries of life. I want you to find a place of joy in the Spirit. It is not My will that you live in despair without hope. Put your faith and hope in Me, says the Lord. Romans 14:17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

You will encounter hindrances, but know that all things work together for your benefit. You may not be able to understand the delays, but you can rest assured that as you yield to My Spirit you will see that your timing is ultimately on track. Relax and trust that I am directing your steps to fulfill My intentions, says the Lord. Refuse to become anxious or annoyed. Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Do not allow distractions to remove My presence from you. Your life will always be better if you allow Me to guide you. I will reveal the hidden things that apply to you and your ways. Trust Me, and work with Me, says the Lord! 3 John 1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

I am calling you to a new, higher level of effectiveness in the Spirit. As you realize those areas of the flesh that need to be eliminated and act accordingly, your spiritual awareness will increase. Be sensitive to My conviction, and know the difference between conviction and condemnation. Conviction comes by My Spirit. Condemnation is a work of the flesh. Conviction will bring liberty while condemnation will bring more bondage, says the Lord. Yield to this great work of My Spirit. Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

You have been in a time of monotonous stagnation, but you are on the verge, the absolute cusp of breakthrough. Prepare your heart and adjust your attitude so that you are ready to forge ahead. Watch for every opportunity to progress, says the Lord. Be ready to take the next step. Isaiah 52:12 For you shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight; for the Lord will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.

Push through the barriers that keep you from being the best version of yourself that is possible. Life's struggles will cause you to grow and will teach you things that mold you into My image, says the Lord. You are being transformed day by day. Keep striving. 2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Pay attention to what you see and know spiritually. You are at the very threshold of breakthrough. Bolster yourself in fresh hope and vision for your future, says the Lord. I will reveal more about your direction and purpose as you take steps to move forward. Make careful decisions, for they will be extraordinarily significant. Psalm 84:5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, whose heart is set on pilgrimage.
