Ministry of the Week
Each week, Victorious Living selects a Ministry that is helping others to grow in the Awesomeness of God and spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ - as He has instructed us to do by the Great Commission... "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. -- Matthew 28:18-20 KJV

I Love You, Abba
As a deer pants for flowing streams, so I long for you, O God. – Psalm 42:1… We were born into the world longing to be with God. He is our Creator and the source of our strength. Even when we fall away, He welcomes us back with open arms.
I have been so Blessed to have an earthly Father, who I can honestly say is the Best Father that God could have ever Blessed me to have. He personifies a Godly Father. Even though I now am grown, my Father still prays for me every single day. My Father He is Godly by his walk with God and the Unconditional Love that he has for his family. Our Heavenly Father is his example.
Just as our earthly Father longs to protect us; our Heavenly Father longs for us to come to Him. When I was young, I can still remember running to my Father and jumping up in his arms. I cannot describe it; many of you also know this feeling… it is a feeling of comfort, care and protection.
This is also how I feel with God, as I am constantly growing in Him. Out of obedience, you just want to please Him and do His will - you long to know His ways and be more like Jesus. When you have been in the valley and you have known that only He could been the one to bring you out, you want to Praise Him even more. Even for the Fatherless, the Lord promised that He would never leave or forsake us and for that I am eternally grateful and say, “Father I truly thank you”.

The Victorious Ministry featured this week is N&R Rogers Ministries. N&R Rogers Ministries is a non-traditional, unconventional, cutting edge Ministry, designed to teach the Word of God with simplicity and understanding. Mrs. Rosie L. Roger Co-Founded the Ministry with her husband, Minister Nathaniel Rogers. The Ministry demonstrates the Love of God by “loving others as we love ourselves.” By using hard-hitting and innovative forms of Ministry, N&R Rogers Ministries endeavors to invoke change in the lives of individuals, families, communities and local Ministries around the world.
About Rosie L. Rogers and the new Stage Play, Make Room for Love:
It all started nineteen years ago when Rosie was asked to rewrite a Resurrection Day Play. Since that time, Rosie has written 39 stage plays, four screenplays, six videos, one novel and is currently working on two books entitled, "Closet Talk" and "Pillow Talk". For the last 25 years, Rosie has also been known as the legendary Christian Comedienne, "Gracious Granny". She is a Christian Wife, Mother, Sister and Friend.
Rosie’s newest Stage Play, Make Room for Love, debuts this Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. at the Studio Theatre, located at1501 14th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001. Rosie's desire is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ—a message of LOVE by using the stage, the television, and the big screen as her pulpit. Her vision is to touch the lives of people, especially youth, through the Word of God in a creative way - that people who would not ordinarily come to a church service will be compelled to give their lives to Christ by what they see or hear on the stage or the screen. Ultimately, she is striving to be used of God for the healing of the land. Rosie has given her purpose a three E's title: Entertainment, "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine“ (Pro 17:22); Edification, "When thou art converted, strengthen they brother"; (Luke 22:32) and Enlightenment, "A man of knowledge increaseth strength" (Prov 24:5). Stayed tuned, there is much more to come from Mrs. Rosie L. Rogers. Rosie says, “May God Richly Bless You All!”

The Victorious Ministry this week is Jesus in Me. The Ministry is founded by Brenda Parker Sutherland. Her Blog is The Prayer Doves Blog and is located at http://www.prayerdoves.blogspot.com/.
Pastor Brenda writes, “It is our mission at Jesus In Me to reach out to others as the body of Christ. Each member working together to support the Head which is our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. Our desire is to show His love through our love for others and their needs. The needs are many, the workers are few. We have a Facebook page that shares the verse of the day, thoughts to ponder, and take prayer requests. At this time 410 have joined. The LORD has promised us many, many, more. We do not advertise, nor take any monetary gain for our work. Our treasure lies in Heaven.
